What data we process
The data you give us in the form or by email: name, email, the text you send and details of your request (service, approximate word count and message).
Why we use it and on what legal basis
- To answer your enquiries and contact requests, and to prepare your free sample and quote: your consent and pre-contractual steps at your request (GDPR art. 6.1.a and 6.1.b).
- To deliver and invoice the service you order: performance of the contract and legal obligations (GDPR art. 6.1.b and 6.1.c).
We never use your texts for any other purpose, never publish them and never use them to train artificial intelligence systems.
How long we keep it
If you don't go ahead with an order, we delete your data and text no later than 6 months after our last exchange. If you do, we keep invoicing data for the periods required by tax and commercial law.
Who we share it with
We don't share your data with third parties unless required by law. We use providers that process data on our behalf:
- DonDominio (Soluciones Corporativas IP, Spain): hosting for this website, its contact form and our email. Data is processed on servers in the European Union.
- For post-editing only: a professional machine translation provider acting as data processor, under a contract that prevents it from storing or reusing texts.
Your rights
You can access, rectify, erase, object to, restrict and port your data, and withdraw your consent, by writing to info@ebrotranslations.com. You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
Cookies
This website uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and fonts are served from our own server, so there is no cookie banner. To count visits we use our hosting provider's statistics, which are calculated from the server's technical logs (IP address, page visited, browser and date) without storing anything on your device, based on our legitimate interest in maintaining and improving the website. If that changes, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
